Samar Singh is popular singer and actor known for singing Bhojpuri folk songs. He is one of the popular singer of Bhojpuri language.

Hi is working in dozens Bhojpuri films as lead actor.He grew up in a family of teachers in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.

Since childhood, he was interested in music and used to actively participate in various cultural programmes held in his school.
During his college years, Samar started singing at various musical events in small cities and towns.

In the initial years of his singing career, Samar Singh used to emulate the style of Ravi Kishan, Pawan Singh, Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua), and Khesari Lal Yadav.
